Our Plan

Our Plan

Prior to the development of our Unity Campaign Committee, we were graciously gifted $3,200,000, for the purpose of building a new church home for Christ Church Anglican. These funds allowed us to purchase four buildable acres of land, in the heart of North Mount Pleasant, almost directly across from Costco. Subsequently, we were also blessed to receive another $1,300,000, which we are currently using to pay for architects, civil and environmental engineers, and other professionals to provide design services, including a Master Plan. Our Master Plan includes a 414 seat church building, a 392 seat parish hall, music ministry space, children’s and youth ministry building, staff offices, and ample parking. The expected cost of the master planned facilities going forward is estimated to be over $30,000,00. In order to leave our temporary facilities at Jennie Moore, we will need, at a minimum, a parish hall, where we will initially worship, music ministry space, children’s and youth ministry facilities, and parking, which we are referring to as “Phase One”. This will require that we raise $8,000,000. If we can meet our monetary goal to complete Phase One, we will once again be able to conduct multiple services on Sunday, as well as during the week; hold meetings for all groups daily; and have access to childcare facilities. It would be wonderful to raise $30M, so that we could build the full Master Plan, however, when we raise $8M for Phase One we will be able to realize leaving Jennie Moore and moving into our functional campus.
