Our Challenge
In August 2022, after parting ways with the Episcopal Church, Christ Church Anglican left a twenty-six acre campus, which included an historic church building, new church building, parish hall (which included a commercial kitchen), children’s and youth ministry building, staff offices, and ample parking. We currently hold our Sunday morning worship service in the auditorium of Jennie Moore Elementary School, while our operating staff shares a small rented office. Our ministry services and meetings are being held in borrowed spaces and in member’s homes – many of which lack the capability for childcare. We are urgently in need of a new church home, in which we can hold multiple Sunday, mid-week, and Christmas services. We greatly need sufficient space for our active and vibrant children, engaging youth ministries, and all of our various ministries every day of the week. We have been blessed by the generosity of local churches, who have been graciously sharing their spaces. However, we have arrived at the juncture at which we must begin the task of building our own church home; a home that will allow us to continue our mission – to make disciples!
